IAAAE is an international organization of architects, engineers and technologists founded by the third Caliph, Hadrat Mirza Nasir Ahmad, Khalifatul Masih III^rh, supreme head of the worldwide Ahmadiyya Muslim Community in 1980.  Hadrat Mirza Tahir Ahmad, Khalifatul Masih IV^rh was the first patron of the Association, before his Khilafat.
